An aromatic and full-bodied white wine, emblematic of the Château de Valeyres.

Background:

Planted from 1945 at Valeyres-sous-Rances by Alphonse Morel, the Swiss variety Riesling x Sylvaner has always been a point of reference for the estate. The Réserve St-Jacques is named after the plot in which Riesling x Sylvaner was first planted near the village church, which is dedicated to Saint James (Saint-Jacques in French) of Compostela.

To accompany:

Can be drunk as an aperitif or with cheese; also, an ideal wine to complement locally-grown asparagus.
