Divico
Notes:
Divico is a new variety, recently planted on the estate, and the harvest of 2017 was the first vintage that we have vinified. The wine offers aromas of fresh fruit and spices and a taste that is lightly earthy but with a very interesting base of tannins.
Background:
A variety bred by floral crossing of Gamaret and Bronner, Divico is a new variety with natural resistance to diseases of the vine. Is this the winegrowing of the future or a passing curiosity? Perhaps a bit of both.
